The Who performing “Baba O’Reilly” at Sheffield Arena 2007.
I went to see The Who at Sheffield around 2000 when they still had three original members, it was simply the best gig I’ve ever been to.
Three grown-up men who should know better belting out two and a quarter hours worth of the most influencial music of our generation without a break - every song a classic in its own right - and backed up by Ringo Starr’s son Zak on drums who was the visual and musical reincarnation of Keith Moon, what a wonderful night that was.
