Stephen K Amos was making big waves at his debut during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007, I could have bought a ticket to see him, I should have, they were only £4, but I didn’t, for his show was on very late and in some strange high-brow throw-back to my more genteel roots I reserved the evenings for the theatre darling – my loss.
