Carved me-self a pumpkin last night, Oogie-Boogie from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas, here he is sitting on our kitchen windowsill, are you frightened children ?
We’ve bought ours but they remain uncarved. I haven’t had the time. Maybe I’ll just let the kids at them while I continue to try and catch up on things around the house. I suppose a 4 year old needs to learn how to use a butcher knife at some time, right?
4 years of age is as good an age to start and if the pumpkins are really as big as your photos suggest you might want to introduce the user guide to a petrol chainsaw too.
