“Burley Village”
Water colour doodled in five minutes while waiting to be dragged out shopping, one of those times when everything worked without even thinking about it, paint was literally thrown on the paper. This one sold immediately I put it on the web and I’ve had several enquiries afterwards to paint some more like it – I’ve tried but failed every time since

“Pennine Farm in Winter”
Watercolour on Bockingford
One of a series, this is watercolour with a bit more control than “Burley Village” not as much fun but a lot more predictable

Hello we´re neighbours in the IF list¡ These are amazing watercours.
Thanks for the comment, I don’t do enough watercolour and I do precious little acrylic, something that I want to fix this year, stay tuned
really liked the loose watercolor effect you had going on with “Burley Village.” when i try to replicate stuff i captured before i usually can’t because i’m trying on purpose. perhaps remember with what frame of mind or spirit you were in and not necessarily what technique exactly. in my (limited)experience anyway.
you got some really nice stuff here! to be honest, i didn’t know where to put a comment (could have commented on each of your pages *g*), giggled my read through your “about” and “101 things” and decided to comment here. the first thing i realised was that we’re using the same wordpress theme
have a nice rest of the week-end
e.
That boxer pup is amazing. I’m in awe of your skilz.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
jeff – that drawing was one of those that didn’t take very long to complete at all, it was one of those days where nothing else matters and you lose all track of time – half of the time you don’t even know what your doing, you’re just picking up pencils and scribbling – late at night you sit back and hey presto !
It really does happen like that sometimes.
Thank you so much!!! I love all your blogs!
Sincerely,
triz from High Quality Picture
