Video Saturday – Thin Lizzy

One of the few bands I actually went to see in the 1970s and probably the most street-cred one, I tend not to mention having paid with my own money to watch Darts and Kiki Dee.

There’s a piece from one of Billy Connolly’s “World Tour” programmes where he visits a cemetery in Dublin to find the grave of Phil Lynott and there he meets Lynott’s mother who visits the grave most days, her verdict on Lynotts life was simple and profound, “Ah, but he was a bit of a naughty boy”.
