Sunday Larf – Reginald D Hunter

There’s been some comment that the London Olympic Opening Ceremony might not have been universally understood outside of these isles, we got it, we thought it was spot on with its interpretation of what it is to be British, but some foreigners might not, particularly those of our former colony across the Atlantic.

Reginald D Hunter has spent a lot of time in the UK, he was at Edinburgh Fringe in 2007 when I was there and like a fool I didn’t buy a £4 ticket to see him, anyway as an American this has given him an insight into what it takes to be British and what makes us different from being American – about 800 extra years of culture being one thing…
